Count working dates using the workweek you select. Saturday and Sunday are an editable starting preset, not a worldwide rule. Add the holiday dates you need to exclude.

Your result and counting rules
Enter your dates and calculate. The current rule will appear with the result.
Set the workweek that applies to you
Choose every weekday that is normally a rest day, or choose none for a seven-day schedule. Enter holidays as YYYY-MM-DD, separated by new lines, commas, semicolons or spaces. Repeated dates are removed. A holiday on a weekly rest day is not subtracted a second time; dates outside the selected interval have no effect.
Worked example
From 2024-12-23 to 2024-12-30, including both endpoints, there are 8 calendar dates. With Saturday/Sunday as rest days and December 25 as a holiday, there are 5 business days. Entering December 25 twice or adding Saturday December 28 as a holiday still gives 5.
Boundaries and limitations
This tool does not automatically load any country’s public holidays, observed holidays or regional calendar. Add the exact dates applicable to your own schedule, including observed substitute dates when appropriate. A reversed range has a negative result. Half-days and work hours are not calculated. Up to 1,000 holiday entries are accepted.
Dates use Gregorian calendar rules and a date-only day index, not local midnight timestamps. Daylight-saving changes cannot add or remove a calendar day.
